how can I remove a CB radio from a '83 Coupe Deville?

I am trying to install a aftermarket CD player in my 1983 Coupe Deville, but I can't get the original CB radio out of the dash. I get the trim plate off and I get the screws out of everything but then theres some wires holding the radio in. are thease the CB wires? How can I disconnect them? I have been told that I need to take it to a dealer and have them take it out for me, but is there any way that I can do it?
