I'm in an 05 STS lease for about 8 months and having seen the 06 DTS I am getting close to maybe making a change. I am a repeat customer at my dealer and am in the 05 at a good price. The buy out is 46K, probably right around retail. Now the good news, my brother is also ready for a DTS. We are thinking of going in together and trying to leverage the purchase of two DTS' to see if I can break my GMAC lease. I don't mind taking a hit for a couple grand but would like to hear some opinions. I have also been talking to un-lease.com but don't know how big a hit I will take there either. What do you all think? Anyone out there want to assume a lease? I will pay all the fees and kick in a grand or two.

one of the salesmen did the same damn thing ....wait no he was paying for it , at any rate he lost 16 grand ...and he WORKS THERE

are you dispaointed with the ride and noise too ? seems to be what i hear alot ...

I can believe it's going to be a big hit. I think wholesale is around 36 - 37 and my payoff is 46. I am still waiting to hear back from un-lease.com but I am pretty sure, unless I find someone to take over the lease the sale will hurt. I do like the car but don't love it. I miss the old days of floating down the road. I will never understand the "I love to feel the road" crowd. Biggest complaint lately is leg room, banging my right knee on the corner of the console.

I like to feel the road in the steering wheel, but I really dont want to feel it in my butt or spine. My 929 was perfect in that regard. Super communicative steering and chassis, but the suspension kept the rough stuff out. I absolutely hate vague steering, which is why I'm not into Volvos.
