I had to pull the fuse in my 2004 Escalade because the horn blew continusouly for almost 3 minutes within 5 seconds of me starting the vehicle and backing out of my driveway. We cut it off, locked and unlocked, disconnected battery and reconnected and it still just blew continuously.
My wife says she experienced a loud backfiring sound the day before while she was at a red light but I think this is unrelated or even could have been another vehicle; no visual signs it was our vehicle. I read air bags could be an issue but obviously no air bag deployed in her vehicle.
I think something might be grounding out, but before I start dismantling the vehicle I'd like to know if anyone else had this issue with the Escalade????????
I've seen post for 98 sedans, etc but not the Escalade for this particular problem.
Thanks in advance for any and all advice.
And I did "search" but did not find any info relevant to my issue in my opinion.
