Just call her Hollywood Hil.

Not only is New York's Democratic Sen. Hillary Clinton a hit with most regular folks at home, she's the darling of the entertainment industry, with an all-star cast of celebrity donors helping stuff her Senate campaign coffers.

A look at federal elections records shows a blinding universe of glitterati have cracked their checkbooks for Clinton. Donors range from the politically notorious Jane Fonda to stars such as Robert De Niro that any pol would love to have on their team.

"It reads like a Who's Who of the arts world," said Lee Miringoff, a pollster at Marist College.

Besides Fonda, who gave Clinton $2,000, and De Niro, who, along with his wife, Grace Hightower, ponied up the maximum $8,400, some of the boldest of the boldface names on the Clinton roster include Barbra Streisand ($2,000), Chevy Chase ($3,000), Eagles singer Don Henley and his wife, Sharon ($8,400), TV mogul Norman Lear ($4,100), Jamie Lee Curtis ($1,000) and movie director Rob Reiner and his wife ($2,000).

Clinton and her ex-President husband have long been favorites of the entertainment industry, but the high Hollywood quotient could be a double-edge sword for the senator now.

New Yorkers love their celebs, and having a bevy of beautiful people in her corner likely can't hurt Clinton in her reelection run. But the Left Coast doesn't necessarily play in Peoria - and Republicans are sure to point that out if she makes a bid for the White House.
