High Side Service Port.

I have a 1996 Cadillac Seville STS. I think my high side service port valve is leaking, I think it's the valve because there's residue inside the cap and the silver liquid line below it is all gummed up. There doesn't seem to be anything coming from the port where it threads onto the line. I have a tool to take out the valve, but it only works for the low side port valve. Is there a different one for the high side? I'd rather just replace the valve if I can get it out. If I need to buy a special tool; I can just buy the whole port as they are cheap, Thanks!

I found the leak on the high pressure port. It looks like the Schroeder valve is leaking, but the valve looks like it has a piece of clear plastic surrounding it. it doesn't look like a tool will fit over the sch valve to screw it out. Only the tip is exposed. I could replace to whole valve assembly on the line, but would have to draw the system down somewhere. I was gonna buy one of those tools that closes off the refrigerant while the valve is being replaced, but I want to make sure the valve can be taken out first. Have you ever seen that before, meaning, something looking like it covers a Schroeder Valve?
Thanks. Have a look at the attached picture. Only the tip of the Schroeder valve is exposed as to not allow a tool to get over it.
