Hi, I have a big problem, My cadillac seville STS 1994 engine base rpm always stays high, around 1500. So whenever I shift gear, the engine will make a strong jerk movement that I worry that one day my engine will fall off its place. Gas consumption is getting high, expectedly. What would be the problem? I changed the ICS, solenoid already and the problem seem to disappear for 2-3 days then come back again. It has been going on for several months, and the problem is getting worse. Oh yeah, whenever I turn off the engine after some drive, I can hear some repeating clicking sound along with liquid gurgling sound from the engine. This lasts for probably 1-2 minutes.

Does someone have any idea?

I would be willing to bet that you have a vacuum leak somewhere. Check all your vacuum hoses and make sure that the beauty cover is making a good seal.
