95 STS with about 158k miles.

I bought it a couple years ago with 117k on it. Shortly after i got it the shift solenoid went out and was stuck 1st/2nd gear. Replaced both of those myself (that was fun). Also AC compressor had some noise so i bypassed it and replaced serpentine belt with the help of these forums.

I have a pesky cooling fan issue where it keep blowing the fuse. I had my repair shop replace the fan and it was great for about 1 year. Then it started blowing the fuse again. Had the fans replaced, good for another few months then the fuse issue again. I will probably replace it myself this time (second time was under warranty)

Head gasket has NOT been replaced. I just replaced spark plugs (not wires, i am cheap) and having a few EGR valve issues. Was planning on cleaning the EGR valve and IAC/plate soon and replacing water pump/belt when i change the coolant (not sure if its ever been done. I know i haven't done it yet)

It has a good oil leak in the usual spot that costs a fortune to repair (2k+). Uses about 1 qt per 400-500 miles. I put about 500 miles a week on it currently, and it is not easy driving miles. Hard miles with frequent start and stop. It has been my best performing cheap old car i've had over the last decade.

2001 Deville base, bought 7 years ago with 99,000 miles. Now at 228,300 miles. WOT every chance I get. 1 quart to 500-700 miles, has been since day 1 of owning it. Only non maintenance items replaced have been the alternator, and the tensioner pulley on the WP drive. Best purchase ever made, and this forum has been a great tool along the way!

I have a 2003 DTS with 170,000. I love the car and it has been reliable, but before I put it through a good maintenance overhaul, I am curious to know how many fellow owners have above 200k.

Moderator edit: This post copied from a duplicate, closed thread in Deville.

Dad has 137k and counting on his 06 DTS. He's put the majority of those on her too. He's quite impressed with how well she runs after all this time. I keep telling him, Well she IS a Cadillac :D

Look at this entire thread and only found two replies concerning late model dts. I have a 2011 dts and I had oil pan leak @ 103,000. Did I answered my own question?

Magic number 200,000 rolled up on the odometer coming home last night. This has been the best used car I have ever owned....

Bought it almost 4 years ago with 93,000 miles on the clock, had some issues from neglect of prior owner.......

Averages 22 mpg on a daily commute of 120 miles, higher some other days when I travel to the other locations. Low as 19.5 mpg in sub-zero temps and most of that can be attributed to using the remote start function (twice)...but it's worth it. Highs of 24 mpg during summer running 75 mph on the big road.

Oil usage remains at 1 pint using the suggested oil change of the GM algorithm at 12,000 miles...

Items replaced or repaired....

Front struts, rear shocks (Auto Level), Spark Plugs, Water Pump, Oil Filter adapter gasket, Secondary Air Injection Valve, Both HID headlight bulbs, (2) Batteries (one was a warranty failure) , two sets of tires, C/V shafts (L & R), several front calipers until I learned to only use new GM calipers, rear brake pads, and I believe (3) wheel bearing / hub assemblies....

I call that pretty damn good......for a $7500.00 used car...

I posted about 2 years ago, thought I'd update. I now have a 2006 Cadillac STS4 1SG with 316,518 Miles.
Sold my 2001 SLS, also sold my 2006 DTS, both still running. Still have my 2004 SRX4 V8, it needs a transfer case chain. Recently purchased a 2007 Escalade.

While this isn’t my car, I’ve had these photos for a while and I’m not sure if they’ve been posted. If I recall correctly it was an 07. 898k miles. Luxury I.

I still miss that cluster from the SLS (my 02 Deville DTS had the same cluster, it was nice to be able to toggle on / off the gauges).
Why do you have the export (canadian?) cluster in the SRX?
As going to 260 is clearly designed for KMH not MPH.

(I know, old post)

02 DTS - 123k miles when traded in (for STS back in '12)
04 SRX - 194k miles
08 STS - 119k miles
06 SRX - 75k? miles (this one is parents car, so I'm not 100% sure on current miles)
All 4.6L Northstars, and all AWD (except Deville DTS obviously)
