Just picked up our new ESV yesterday. 3 kids. Captain chairs in second row with carseats that use the LATCH systems in the seats. My oldest is 5 and still sits in a high back booster seat. We are planning to have her in the 3rd row while our newborn and 3 year old are in the captain chairs. I learned yesterday after picking it up that the 3rd row has now lower anchors to attach her booster seat to, and most booster seats dont have upper anchors to attach to the seat any other way.

I'm sure this has been discussed on the forum, but would love to hear what solutions the community has come up with, and/or what high back booster seats have attachment points that work correctly with the 3rd row in these Escalades.

Appreciate your help!

Can you use regular seat belt with the booster seat?

We use just the seatbelt with a booster seat.
Seems to be a viable option when you think about the mechanics of a crash.
It's also explicitly how they are designed. Boosters are merely seat belt positioners by changing the height of the occupant and belt course. All of the fancy extra stuff is not actually part of the safety function, but some of it is just to give that impression. Yes high backs do have some benefits especially for kids that nap and can lean against them.
