I have a 1999 STS without onstar, and while getting some mobile video and alarm installed, a buddy of mine who works at car audio masters alerted me to a hidden microphone that is up near the garage door opener buttons anyone know why this is here or is it to go along if you had onstar in your car?

I've been on a wild goose chase regarding the Bose AVC, and can not believe that the dealership and private audio shops seem to have no idea about this. My problem is that the the avc is not working, the dealer had the bose system replaced several times and it did not correct the problem. any ideas?
