I just got a 2001 catera, and I'm looking to upgrade to HID headlights. I was just wondering what all I would need.

I know I need a HID conversion kit, such as this (do I need the H7 version or what??):

But, do I also need the Projector Headlights:

Thanks for any help!

they're nice, its as simple as changing a headlight. i replaced all front lights with HID upgrades and had problems with relays and power because of the cheapness of kits i bought. i am in the process of replacing with better quality HID kits. i bought cheap, got cheap, and some didn't last a week. my advice is: they are definetly nice and you get what you pay for.

Did you have to replace the actual headlight with the projector headlights? Or do I only need to purchase a HID conversion kit?
