Have a cts that has 20,000K on it. Just noticed the HID on the right is out.
The other day I noticed it working... then it went out again.
I guess its a connection problem or something like that.

I have read that if you try to remove the light assembly, you have to first take of the whole front fender???

Can anyone provide me with instruction to remove the light, and any possible areas to check to resolve the problem.

Best regards,

The easiest way to get this fixed is bring it into a Cadillac dealer and have them work on it under warranty. It sounds like your ballast may be failing. The dealer will replace it for free. HID's are very expensive to fix if you are doing it out of pocket. Just a light bulb capsule will cost over $100.

yea the ballast and all wiring is actually inside the headlight anyway, so even if you do decide to rip the front bumper off (fenders stay lol) you wouldnt be able to find a loose connection.
