Hey Guys,
I have a 03 cts and currently am in the process of converting my stock headlights to HID's. I have been searching the forum trying to find a good quality or brand of hid kits at a not so high price. Upon my searching within this forum , a website was brought up.... http://www.vvme.com/
With further searching, I saw that these kits were going for about $100 plus tax. That is the cheapest price that I have ever seen for a pair German of constructed Xeon lights(Good quality). My question is.. Has anyone purchased a pair hid's from this site? And if so Is the kit up to standards?
Thanks......

The kit for my fogs is from that site. Good stuff, high quality. Only had them in for 2 weeks so far tho... So I can not give a great time tested quality report. I can tell you that I run them day and night and have put well over 24 hours of use on them with out any problems.

Thanks for the info......Was the install difficult?
No. VERY easy... Mounted the ballasts on top of the fogs housing using industrial strength velcro. Wire from the car into the ballast, wire from ballast into the bulbs wiring, put bulb in. Done. You can literally do it in 30 minutes.

are they waterproof?
Yes, I put them in my fish tank and put them on, fish in there and all.

I bought a set of HID fogs a few months back from Top PSI Performance. See my thread below. The difference from stock is amazing! You will not be disappointed in them.

Anyhow, I will be selling my car soon and removed these. I paid $220 + shipping for them. I will sell for $175 delivered if you are interested. They are barely used. My loss is your gain. Let me know Bro. [email protected]
If you are in the Dallas, TX area I will install them for you. :)

damn i was hoping you could give me a few pointers on how not to kill them:D

i spent $$$$ on the 55 gallon tank(fresh water) with all the rock, decorations, filters, and all the crap that it needs(except fish), then i spent $$$ on over 100 fish to fill it when i first got it and over half died from the tank being new and stuff, then i spent another $$$ to get more fish, and my snake ate a lot of the smaller fish(damn snake). after the snake died every thing was good until i took my little trip to puerto vallarta(mexico), i cleaned the take and set the heat thing to high... way to high over 100 degrees!!!!!!!!! when i got back i had to clean out my tank for a week, they water was pure brown and 90% of my fish died:mad:. now i got a tank of about 20 little fish:D

last time i ever clean my take before i go on vacation again:yawn:

and i have leaned most of my lessons that hard way:thepan:

Will I have to take my bumper off to install the HID's?
No dre, you dont even have to jack the car up either. The only time you NEED to remove the bumper is to do the headlights... For fogs you just need to remove the wheel well liners and u can get under there easily and install them. Unless you are like, 300 pounds... Then u may wanna get the car up on jack stands.
