HID Kit install problem, is my kit bad?

Sup guys and gals... I've been doing my WW clear fogs all day basically... one down, one to go! Anyway...

I have a HID kit for my fogs. The kit basically says to plug the factory power into the ballast and then from the ballast there is 2 plugs to plug to the wiring coming from the bulb. I did that, started the car, turned on the fogs, and nothing at all... I thought maybe both sides needed to be connected so I did that, still nothing. I'm kinda clueless...

Do I need to run wiring directly from the battery to a relay and get power from there?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Reverse the polarity of the plug. If the ballast is getting the reverse polarity, it won't fire. I ran into this problem when I was installing my HID's too.

I CAN try that... But the plugs are all a one way fit I'm pretty sure.

i'm just wondering if thats GM or the kit makers wrong doing? I'm gonna have to change the wires around on the connection so that it snaps in correctly. :rant2:
It's the kit. They are all made for japanese cars. Both of my HID kits were like this.
Hahah I had the same thing happen to me. Thought my HID fluid was low but it turns out I just needed to swap the wires! LOL!!

My kit came with 2 extra wires and a little sleave to do this.
