I had a bulb go out and realized the seal was bad on the headlight lens so I went to ebay and ordered one off of similar model car. What I didn't know was I had the HID option since I bobought this car used a couple of years ago.

The lens casing is the same and I should be able to remove the guts from the old and exchange into the purchased lens. Problem is I can't figure out how to get the reflectors out of the housing. After removing all wiring and torx screws the unit won't fit up through the hole in the back of the housing. I can't twist it or anything.

The beam adjust had a "nut" on the bottom of it. There are two more similar looking attachments behind. I cannot see how to release these or if there is another way.

If the seal is the issue, don't bother fixing it. All you need to do is drill two tiny holes in the bottom of the housing. Make sure you don't hit any reflectors, bulbs etc. With two little holes water will drain out and condensation will no longer form inside the lamp unit. It will add many years to your bulbs. Trying to fix a seal is a nightmare and may not be all that effective.

I already replaced the fixture completely. I bought a new (used) one on ebay. I made the mistake of getting Halogen not HID. Just trying to figure out how to get the lens holder inside apart. The second picture shows a "nut" that is holding on the adjustment screw for alignment. the whole lens assembly swivels on two similar post. It can't be impossible to remove, just can't see the solution.
