A few weeks ago the following trouble codes P023, P029 and P086 appeared at my 95 caddy eldorado while the tranny doesn`t shift into 3rd and 4th gear. I contact 2 german caddy dealers next to me and because none of them seemed to be able to fix my problem realy, I looked into the web and found this wonderful forum. Quite a whole night I red the older threads of the archive and at last I got my problems fixed. Now I`m happy to be able to change the solenoid valves of my caddy`s tranny, because of the perfect descripition of the changing methode by swimmster. Although I hope I get the new ignition modul tomorrow to clear the P023. This archive here is even the best repair manual man can have,, thanks a lot to all guys who had posted their threads here to help others. With greetings from bavaria, germany.
