So I read on the manual the a/c will not work if the outside air is cool enough. Well, I'd like to keep my windows lok'd up but when I try to turn the A/C on, it blinks three times and shuts off, and the air that comes in from it is not cool enough. What to do?

Your AC will come on even in the winter time to keep the humidty under control and keep the windows some what fog free, out of all my Euro cars and SUV's I like the new Escalade's HVAC system, very simple to use compared to some and works well.

It won't because it always knows what the exterior temp is and over rides the system to prevent compressor damage
that's too much for a car to know:mad:

but I tell you what comes out of those vents is no cool air, see in my Land Cruiser the a/c works rain or shine. That's what I want:worship:
You have no idea how much pollution there is on street level in this city, in this beautiful dirty city. Adding to that, the sun, that's another story (the hottest place on Earth is in Ethiopia) and you can't dream about driving with the windows up. Am pretty pretty sure GM did not consider this - a hot hot day with a very chill wind.

So. can i haz my a/c pleezz!

car is at 21K miles if it matters.
