I may tackle my header install (um, reinstall).
What are the chances of me breaking one or more spark plugs and wires?
Would it be a great time to change them?
Somebody said Magnecor
http://www.magnecor.com/magnecor1/main.htm
um, which ones?

How about Taylors?
04-74244 Taylor Spiro-Pro 8mm Spark Plug Wire Set, 98-02 LS1 F-body, 97-05 Corvette, 04-05 GTO, 04-05 CTS-V, RED
That the right ones? 8mm? I read 10.4mm somewhere.

ack! Repeat thread, been asked before, mods lock and ban.

Well your gonna have to remove the spark plugs anyway, so I guess you could drop them and break them.:histeric:

I replaced them, the wires, and installed "KOOL SOX" over the wires.

Reccomend you use PERCYS gaskets and replace the header bolts with 12 point stud system.

thanks bro :)
I have already ordered the Percy's gasket and ARP stainless studs, $140 ouch.
So...got detalis/PNs on the plugs/wires you used? :)

urb,
On the Magnecor wires you would want the KV85 series wires, part number Is 85229 I think..
On spark plugs, I use the NGK TR55's part number 3951 gap them at .045 for a na motor. If you are running a power adder then go to the TR6's and gap them at .040
As soon as I get the 02 bungs welded into the Header collectors I will be doing the swap. It really isn't that bad of a job and you will be happy in the end..
