Doesn't seem like a bad deal at $2995 with 61k on the clock!

That will make someone a very nice car. The Sixty is in a class by itself.
I will be in Downers Grove tomorrow, I will have to go check it out. Thanks for posting
They are a big high end dealer in the Chicago area, I see interesting stuff on their site all the time. I ran a VIN check on it and it looks real clean, although theres nothing showing before 1997.

If you check it out and it looks good and you dont end up getting it, let me know, Im looking for something just like that as a second car.

Looks like a good buy, but we'll wait for Elias's assessment.
Looks good enough for the price, though the antenna and steering wheel need redoing. Could be worth it if you had the space.

You know me, I am going to start the offer at $1,500. If it was a 4.9 liter 1993 Ultra with moonroof, it would be worth my time to sell the wagon and make room for it.

I still am trying to find a 1993 Deville Touring Sedan with moonroof... preferably in Black to match my Fleetwood.

Our puppy has a "well puppy checkup" at the Vet in Downers Grove tomorrow, so we are taking the afternoon off for it. It is like having a freakin' child... I will check on the Fleetwood after that.

I've had my dog for 14 years. When her times comes, she will be the last dog I will ever have. Great dog mind you but they are very much "like having a freakin' child". Huge responsibilty.
Nice Sixty Special. The seats are terrific, show no wear. I don't like the Silver Vinyl Roof !:tisk: If it really is silver (and not a faded light blue metallic) then it's been replaced, as the code book says that Light Sapphire Blue MUST have a matching top, unless the car is a Coupe deVille, when it could also have white, dark blue or matching.
Nice car, would be much nicer IMO if it was a 91-93. I like the 4.9 grille a lot more, and the fact it's actually got the 4.9L. I mean nothing against the 4.5 or anything, that's a great motor too, but I've always belived "ya gotta get the biggest engine available".

It's just cool to see a 17 year old Cadillac at a place that specializes in exotic cars. That really means something.

Well, unfortunately no not really. Luxury Motors sells all their trades online, they rarely send any but the worst condition cars to auction. If you cruise through their site youll see Malibus and beat up Thunderbirds and stuff as well. This is just a really nice condition trade. Obviously this was traded on another Caddy or something really nice to have been kept up that well.
I stopped by their Downers Grove location today since it was only 3 miles from the Vet... it was pouring rain and the salesman that came to greet me spent 15 minutes looking through their inventory for the car and could not find it. After 10 more minutes of phone calls to people who are 10 feet from him, I decided to make the 30 mile trip back downtown....

He has my phone number if they find this elusive Sixty Special. He said it might have been moved to another location or sold...
I know the car is cheap but why try to state it has 61k when obviously it has alot more miles on it. Look at the steering wheel. I have a blue interior 93 with 133k that dosent show ANY wear. Why would that one be all worn /rubbed out?
It's a "BG4" car, as is mine! BG4 translates to "Trim Override" - "Special Handling"
(In this case, triggered by the Silver Metallic Roof over the Light Sapphire Blue Metallic paint.
The mandated roof color was matching Light Sapphire Blue Metallic). Any other choice on a Sedan
de Ville, Fleetwood or Sixty Special was restricted. A COUPE deVille was allowed Light Sapphire
Blue, or DARK Sapphire Blue or White choices for it's Landau Roof. White or Dk. Blue for
its OPTIONAL Simulated Convertible Top ~

Thats not true, Ive seen plenty of older Devilles and Sevilles with worn out steering wheels with no more than 70 or 80k miles, or just from age. Its really just a deep blue dye and it wears over time.

Thats like saying that because the paint on your car didnt fade, that someone elses wont either. It can depend on everything from the oil in that persons hands, to the weather where they live, to how thickly the dye was applied.
