HELPPP!!! Am I going to rub??
Hi, I'm planning on getting rims soon and I found a greattt deal on a set of 20x9.5 rims with about a 35-40mm offset and the deal would come with 255/35/20 tires. Is that going to be ok for the CTS or do you think that will rub? If so, would the tire size be the problem or the 9.5 rim width, or both lol? I'm just asking because it's such a good deal and I don't wanna pass it up if they'll fit. Thanks in advance!!

i ordered some rims that are going to be made especially for a cts and they are building it 8.5 inches wide. i have a huge 02 lincoln towncar that has 22x9.5 rims. usually a rim that wide fits a big car like that, a 300, a charger, or a truck.
i'm not saying it won't fit i'm just saying an 8.5 inch wide rim would fit a cts better. i wouldn't try it...

i just put on my new wheels,:2thumbs:...lol..they are 20x8.5 though..and im runnin the 245/35/20 and i have no probs yet..lol. but im curious as to wats goin to happen wen i decide to drop it.
I predict that they will rub. Probably wouldn't with 18's, but 20 and 255-35-20? I don't know much but I don't think it will fit. Best of luck to you though!
