I just picked up a 2017 ATS 2.0T with red leather interior and carbon fiber accents (P1 & P2 photos). I love the white, but I want to mix it up. I have a carbon fiber front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser on the way. I also have a carbon fiber overlay for the grill (see photo). How do I get rid of the "plastichrome" pieces on the grill? I like the style, just trying to lose the chrome. Are there pieces I can buy? Do I just have them wrapped? Ideas?

I covered mine with a product called "d-c fix" matte black self adhesive vinyl. If you are interested, google d-c fix. You'd have to overbuy - it comes in a sheet around 26" x 76" for about $12.00 but it matches the texture of the black plastic perfectly and worth every penny. Once applied, you'd never know that there where chrome bars there.

I also used it to cover the visually obnoxious seat belt warning labels that are on the sun visors. Makes 'em disappear.

I ended up using Plasti-Dip. Super simple and it looks great. Went ahead and got the rear end and ATS and 2.0T lettering as well! Working on window trim today.
did you remove the trim pieces or do it with the parts on the car?
