I have a 1989 Sedan Deville 4.5 Liter that I am trying to fix up and I wondering what I will need to buy.
#1. My tail lights do not work, when I replace the fuse it blows instantly.
#2. My on board computer display, do not work correctly. It either displays a "c" or a "d" 95% of the time, while the c or d is displayed, i can not tell how much gas, nor can i turn off the vent(i think its the vent) that keeps blowing, very cold in the winter. When the display is working properly everything else works, it just randomly clicks on, then clicks off.

I am wondering what I should do to get it working again. Any suggestions or ways to fix this will be greatly appreciated. You can reply to this thread or send me an email at [email protected] Thanks very much!!!

Major electrical short dude. Start isolating/tracing circuits and hope you get lucky and find it early.
I'd start with the circuit that blows the fuse. If that doesn't lead you to the big problem, start with the battery and work back from there.
