I was waxing my car yesterday and had the doors of my 98 eldorado open. I guess the timer turned the interior lights off. Now they won't come on when I open the doors or even turn the knob all the way. But I can turn them on individually at the light itself. I'm thinking there is a reset procedure. Anyone have any info to help. Thanks.

I don't mean this to sound silly, but have you tried them at night? If it's bright outside, my car won't turn on the interior lights. It has to be dark enough first.

Are there dome override buttons on those cars?? If so, that could have inadvertantly gotten pressed.

No they are not working at night.

I've noticed mine are on a timer too, but; as soon as a door is opened, the trunk light, interior lights come right back on. I was wondering if this time interval can be set to a different interval than the current setting.
