My buddy Tony has a 2000 Hyundai Accent, 1.5L I4.

He had me check it out today because he has an exhaust leak.

I found it pretty quickly:

I found the entire pipe on RockAuto for 65 bucks.

However, he is a broke college student like me, so he was wondering if there is a way to patch it with something.
He thought maybe it could be welded, but my guess is that is out of the question.

Any thoughts and ideas are appreciated. Thanks guys!

Autoparts store may have a flex pipe repair kit. You probably could cobble up a fix using some worm clamps along with the kit.
Those are stainless flex pipes and cant be weld easily.
