Hello everyone. Any help would be great. I have a 1999 STS and today the SES light came on. I stopped the car and read the codes and here's what I got:

B0532 History- Fuel sensor shorted to ground
P0506 History - Idle Speed Low
P1617 History - Engine Oil Level Circuit
U1064 History - Loss of Communications to DIM
U1128 History - Loss of Communications to IRC

I reset the all the codes and the SES went out. Any thoughts as to why these codes would cause the SES to come on? On another note; it has been running a bit rough but no codes indicate a misfire or anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Phil

Did your fuel guage register the tank as Empty with B0532? I have that code, and that is my only code and my fuel guage says i'm on Empty, but I just filled up. I am guessing i've got road salt messing with a connection somewhere.
