Hey guys. I'm new to the forum and I just got my 06 CTS. I did get the BOSE system but could not get the NAV unit (I have to wait 2 months if I want a car with the NAV in it!!!). I was browsing and found this part (10359362) which is a 05 NAV system. So my question is, if I get this will it work on the 06? Will it be kind of a plug and play or do I have to do all kinds of wiring stuff to make it work? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

you need the nav DVD v.6.0, GPS antenna, And you need to run a speed sensor wire to the instrument cluster, although it has been said that the 06s come with VSS wires already installed.(not yet proven)

Ive done the nav installation, so I can assist you as much as possible, I am in NY, so if you are close...

The 06 has a wood trim on the radio face plate that isn't present on the 05. If you don't mind the fact that it won't match up, the 05 should work pretty much PnP. You'll only need wires plugs for voice points and microphone.

Thanks guys for all your replies...just wanna add some questions....how much does the GPS antenna and a GPS Disc cost? Is it really worth it? I mean to tranform from the basic one to the NAV unit?
