Help! Need part FAST!

Check an auto parts store?

The number shows up at GM Parts Direct, as "Coolant Temperature Sensor - TEMP SWIT" for $7.94

Hi!

I did check a parts store. I was told it would need to come direct from Cad. Would like to have the part by Friday so I can leave on a road trip. Where is GM Parts Direct?

Is that the switch which screws into the cylinder head to keep the blower motor off until the coolant warms up? If so then a temporary fix is to connect the spade terminal on the end of the wire to ground. The blower will work now but will come on as soon as the car is started.
