1995 Cadillac Deville.
Hello I started hearing a knock when I hit a bump or put on the breaks. I found this bar that comes off the lower control arm had a bushing that was toast. What is the name of the bar/bushing, do I have to buy it from the dealer?
The bar is going across the screen, it connects to the lower control arm on the right, the bushing I need to replace is on the left.

Sway bar mount bushing. Replace them all as well as the end tie links, if any. Talk to Chris in parts at Rippy Cadillac over there >>>>

I believe that is the STRUT ROD -
and what you need is a STRUT ROD BUSHING KIT -

the drag link is part of the steering linkage -
mounts between the pitman arm and the idler arm -
then the inner tie rods mount to it -

Unfortunately I already paid 36$ for it at the dealer. Now I am unsure of how to get it on, do I have to take off the whole lower control arm?

Yep, whole lower control arm has to come off so you can slide the front half of the bushing over the rod.

Super easy to do, jus undo the control arm from the cradle (21mm bolts) than you'll be able to maneuver it out, literally 30 minute job.
