Help finding rubber insert for cup holder

Does anyone know of a place on the web to order the rubber insert that goes in the cup holder in the center consol? This is the first GM car I have owned in years and just don’t know what the good OEM sites are. Also a part number or way to source it would be great if anyone knows.

Thanks

Yeah, Enterprise rent a car..they rent CTS...Just kidding....Welcome ot the forum...I'll be right back...I'm going to pull mine out and see if i see the p/n
You should be able to e-mail or phone your local Cadillac dealer's parts department and get the part number and a price. You can compare their price with the one shown on www.gmpartsdirect.com using the part number and decide if you want to negotiate a lower price from the dealer or buy online and pay shipping.

Otherwise, you can download http://www.cadillacfaq.com/faq/answers/pdf/cts-partslist.pdf and see part number 25737723 on page 10 (129).

I would just leave it off. Chances are no one will really care unless you're doing something stupid on the road. Why put holes in your CTS if you don't need to?

Your state or local police will care, it COULD be a moving violation and points!!!
If your car didn't come with one and your state requires it, you'll have to place it very carefully, and drill the holes in the bumper. The original ones have an expanding threaded aluminum rivet for the holes. My dealer simply put the screws in the plastic.

As for buying from GMPD, remember they charge shipping and handling, which can be significant. They don't stock parts but rather order them from GM to be sent to your house, so there will be a delay of several weeks. If saving $5 is more important, then that's the answer, but if you want it this month, I'd go to the dealers parts departement. My parts guy gives me a 20% discount, which ends up being much closer to the shipped GMPD prices.
i placed the order for the liner as well as a few other items from them last night. it was ALOT cheaper than my dealer. i was able to get 3 parts shipped for less than the dealer wanted for just the one. thanks for all the help

it is really over a month to get parts from them?

RM,
THis is a new CTS. Why aren't you using the warranty? I see in your other thread you're also missing your ashtray. You shouldn't have to pay for this.
the dealer took care of the ash tray liner but i did not even know there was a cup holder liner untill i saw on in another car yesterday. dealer is 90 miles away so it is just eisier for me to do some stuff myself
