Hello, I have come accross a 1970 Eldorado that has a custom convertible top. It is a white car with blue interior and a convertible top that stores in the trunk. The top is held up with a center bow attaches behind door where b-pillar would be on a sedan. The back is snapped down. It is nicely done, does anyone know who would have done these custom jobs back in the day and if they are desirable?

Thanks
Dave

look for some company id around the top or trunk storage well.

M+M (Miller Meteor), Superior and Hess & Eisenhardt were the big three. Coach Builders Limited MAY have been in business back then but I'm not sure. Superior is the only one of the big three left. Coach Builders is still going as well - but they DO NOT do ElDorado conversions anymore - they are only doing DTS sedans!?!
