First off, Im 33 yrs old and this is my first CAR. Since 1991 I have ONLY owned Jeeps :D I traded a 2006 Grand Cherokee 4.7 for this CTS. The CTS is a 2005 bought with only 8200 miles! Its has the 3.6L, leather, heated seats, no navi or sunroof but I guess everything else? Got it for around 23K which I thought was a good deal, was just about an even trade from the 06 Jeep. Still love Jeeps and will always have one, still have a 94 Cherokee for snow/winter. Here are some pics of the car. I love it so far, getting right at 26mpg since I bought it Saturday! Much better than the 16 the Jeep got! Im sure to have MANY questions, Im new to anything NOT Jeep. These forums are great to learn, Ive been on the same Jeep forum for almost 7 yrs!Not sure what the color is called? Dealer had marked as Stealth Grey? Ill get better exterior shots when I figure out what tint to do.

My other pride and joy. 94 Cherokee, 2" lift 133,000 miles:

bofum,lol,I like that:highfive:
Thanks everyone. What can I do about the exhaust tips? The factory exhaust is quite turdly, everything else is quality on the car. I saw the V Series tips but looking for something not so large. Just nice, chrome factory looking tips!

mine r stock!
You can buy the OEM stainless tips from a Cadillac dealer for about $100. That's the ones I bought for my car, and they install easily with a set screw. Contact Lindsay Cadillac (a forum vendor) for great deals on Cadillac OEM stuff.

Cool. I think that is the direction I would like to go! Just something nicer but not over the top.

Just scheduled an appt for tint on Monday. My Grand Cherokee I traded had factory 20% in back and I did 35% front (legal). I think thats what Im going to do 20 in back and 35 front on the CTS. Would like 20 all around but will stay legit and I think 35 all around will be too light. Ill try to order these tips tonight. :D
You'll like the OEM tips. They really dress up the rear. :highfive:
which are the OEM tips for $100...are they like the EG classic tips...
I like the tips on SvB4EvA car but it looks like those are part of
the mufflers....can you get us a closeup picture ???? I'd replace
my EG classic tips with those in a heart beat
Weclome ....Good to see another St. Louis Member!
