Just wanted to introduce myself, I will be spending many hours on this website.

Will post pictures as soon as I get back from work. But just as the tittle states, 2009 CTS DI, black with beige interior..

I am so happy its ridiculous, I still can't believe the car is mine.. I plugged in my iphone to the USB port, however it says device not supported :hmm:, I have an ipod touch, would that work ??

Thank you,

Congratulations on your purchase!! I bought my 09 CTS AWS premium DI last July and have been really please with the purchase and am still excited every time I walk out to the parking lot after work. Some of my co-workers actually thought it was like a brand new car it looks so good and they are a blast to drive very sippy for passing on the freeway or laying into it a little bit on the freeway on ramps althought you do feel a little of the weight of the car in the corners. Mine has a few more miles then yours though, just turned 70 K so I have put just over 7 K since i purchased last summer.

The only thing you will want to do is drive as muchas you can before your 5 year drivetrain warranty expires and make sure to have your dealership look it over before it expires. Mine for example expires October 2013 so I have another 10 months. My car was having some weird vibrations when turning and coming up to speed on the freeway (you can feel it mostly in the steering wheel) they are hundreds of padges of this issues on this forum. Anyway, I ended up finally taking it to the dealer last month and they ended up replacing the rear drive shaft (no cost to me). Now it is smooth as butter!! But just keep an eye for any freeway vibrations in the steering wheel and make sure if you feel anything to get it fixed as soon as you can.

Does anyone know if they have those AC Delco cables for the iphone 5 (new connector)? I tried mine with my old iphone but never knew why it didn't work back when I had the iphone 4.

Enjoy and welcome!

Thank you so much for the advice, Yes I have about 10 months left on mine as well.. Speaking of weird vibrations, the steering wheel is perfectly fine, however the shifter knob vibrates a lot when I rest my hand on it during the highway.. I didn't think much of it, do you think this is something I should take a look at ?

Welcome to the forum, CTS09DI! If you ever have vehicle concerns you would like me to research, email me anytime at [email protected]. (If you would like me to send you a copy of your build sheet, for instance, I'm always happy to do so.)

Wishing you many happy miles on your CTS,
