Hi,

I am the owner of 2 Cadillacs. A 1979 Sedan DeVille that I am in the process of restoring and a 1996 Cadillac Sedan DeVille that I just purchased. I found your site by accident but liked the information I found. Between myself and my father we owned many Cadillacs. The 79 was my Dads before he passed away so I felt the need to restore it back to like new condition. Truly a labor of love not monetary gain. My 96 is going to be my cruiser this summer. Bought it extremely cheap from a coworker. It needs suspension work which is how I found the site and a dent fixed in the left rear door. Thank you for the good Cadillac forum.

Welcome Aboard !!! :highfive:

For the 1996, you should study the sticky posts on the main Deville and Engines, Northstar forum pages. Also, the entire Cadillac Technical Archive way up ^^^ in the top black bar - written by one of the Northstar Powertrain engineers and the engineer who developed the OLM algorithms.

May I congratulate you on your excellent choices in years of Cadillacs :)

Suspension work on the '96 won't be cheap, though
