Re: Is Heavy for real?

Very cool heavy.
Thanks for the compliments from all.

Here are a few screen shots of where I am today.,

The OEM data is "perfect", back up camera works as does the computer.

Dammit Heavy, I am starting to get the Mod bug back again thanks to you!

I am really looking forward to see what the final version looks like, this is awesome.

Go here:

https://autoappmart.com

The finished version should look just like stock except for the addition a few switches on the front panel.

RATS!

Just ran into a brick wall with the Mac install.

It fits, the CD/DVD slot lines up, but the plug ins don't have enough clearance without going through the firewall.

The Mac is getting mounted probably behind the arm rest.

No big deal and in fact I keep the CD changer.

Heavy is currently my hero, I need to research the audio out quality but hell of a job and awesome dedication to the task my friend

If you use the optical output, the Mac gives 5.1 when playing a movie.

I may have to get a USB Soundblaster adapter or something like it.

I plan on yanking the BOSE everything.

Re: Is Heavy for real?

For those planning on running a non mac mini pc Centrafuse is a great front end software for music playback.
You can always load the Mac with Windows or Linux if you prefer.

At least you have a choice rather then it not being possible.

By the way, the V2 doesn't do this.
