New here, but already found a lot of great info.I have a question hope someone can answer.I have a 92' Eldo w/4.9.The heater hose going from thermostate area to heater has a "T" in it with the other hose going to the waterpump area. The plastic "T" broke & I had to replace it.The problem is which way does the arrow point to? I'm not sure if I have it in right or not.Thanks........Bob

I think the end with the restriction in it goes toward the heater core. That is, it restricts flow to the core. If it is in wrong you won't get much heat, if any.

That "won't get much heat" comment intrigues me - mine broke on my '92 Seville - and I had to replace it with a non-OEM "T" fitting (it broke on a Sunday) - so there is no restriction - guess I'd better stop at the dealer and get a "real" "T" fitting!

The arrow points towards the heater core. It should be pointing to the end with the restrictor in it.
If you look inside it's really just an orifice that's a little bit smaller than the other opening.
