Hi Guys,
Getting ready to change the sensor on the exhaust manifold.When lookin at it there seems to be a bar of some sort that runs across.Even with a sensor socket it looks like it would be very hard to get it over it.Or will it still go on?Any ideas on getting this done?
Also it looks like it was welded on somehow or is this just carbon build up on it.

I wonder what this bar is it seems to go directly over top the sensor almost.Any ideas if i will still be able to change this myself?

I'm in the process of changing my o2 sensor as well. I bought an o2 sensor wrench kit.

Just like changing a spark plug, and just like the plugs, you need a specail O2 sensor socket.
