On my 2004 Srx,one of my bulbs is burnt out in the headlight assembly,is there a easier way to gain access to the assembly other than jacking the car up,pulling the wheel and undoing the tire weld.

Removing the headlight assembly doesn't sound too difficult and it's all from above.

Yes, dealers take bumpers off but it only takes additional 20 minutes - all pins at the bottom attaching engine shield, all pins under the hood, and one bolt on each side from inside the fender. Or you can pull the top bumper cover until the headlight comes out but chances to damage paint are high.
