Here is a new electrical question: My 2000 STS right low beam won't illuminate when I turn the lights on, however, when I press the unlock at night both low beams come on until the door opens. I don't think changing the lamp will help.

Any ideas as to how to get the right low beam to light?

Are you sure its the low beam that comes on with unlock? Mine turns on the highs.

You are right. I was looking at the wrong lens. So I guess I'd better change the low beam Lamp. Thanks for your help.

Are you sure you dont have HIDs? Not sure if they offered them in '00.

You can always just swap the bulbs from side to side to verify a bad bulb.

Here is the diagram

Each light bulb has its own fuse (4 in total).

And of course I'll check the fuzes, too. Any one have any luck with the plastic lens cleaners that are on the market. With 146K miles mine are getting a little fuzzy. Thanks for the info, I appreciate it.

Many out there have used them with good success, I think the trick is to take your time and not rush.... I think I would plan an hour or two per lens, its very labor intensive.

Mine arent that bad, but I would like to do them this summer anyway.
