[GT04CTS-V]

Does anyone out there have this combination? Long tube headers, Random Technology Cats, and a Magnaflow exhaust system? If so, What headers did you use? What are the parts numbers for the Cats and did you have to have a special pipe made to go from the Cats to the exhaust?

I'm hoping that it's simply a bolt on. Any help is appreciated.

It's not a bolt on. You will have to get a lead pipe made.

what headers are you guys lookin at? I was thinking SW headers (Jet-Hot of course) RT cats and Magnaflow. I dont know what the ETA of the Kooks headers is and with the stuff about BB on here I have concerns about those. Again maybe we could work some group thing.....

I think it very well may work. What we need to do is compare pictures of my set up (after I get the RT cat/lead pipe put in) and pictures of your set up. My guess is it will work. I think you could order the SW headers...choose to have them JET HOT coated or not then order the lead pipe they will offer after they use my car and take the lead pipe to a local muffler shop. The local muffler shop may have to cut and do some very minor fitting of the lead pipe but not much. This is just my guess.

Again, I think it will work...but first we should compare pics after I get it done. :cool2:

I'd like to see a picture of the long tube headers, cats, and Magnaflow/Corsa all coupled together on the ground.

If anyone gets this worked out, could you please post a pic, or at least a pic of the headers and cats+adapter all coupled together.

Let me know how your install works out and when the lead pipe is available for ordering. I guess RT will have the lead pipe - right?

Yes you will be able to order the pipe from RT in a couple of weeks. When they fab the lead piece for mine (Corsa) they will be able to tell you more. You could send them picks of the Magnaflow and they can tell you how much would need to be done to get it to fit....my guess is it wont take much. I hope it works out for you!
