Hey Guys,

I'm having a bunch of work done in my 03 this weekend.

Valve Cover Gaskets
Timing Belt, Pulley, Tension-er
Water pump
Ignition Coil packs
Spark Plugs

Question being, while the top half is pulled off, is it work having the head gaskets done?

I havent ever heard a problem with these before, my car has 160k on it and I want to keep it forever... Anything else you guys would recommend while im getting this all done??

Head gaskets would be a lot more work since the cams and exhaust manifolds will have to come off along with other miscellaneous things. If you're going to do it, you might as well change the valve seals and get a 5 angle grind on the valves themselves. Not worth it IMO.
Coil packs seem unnecessary but not the worst idea per say. Add a thermostat to the list and you're all set.
Honestly, I'd take the money from the head gaskets and coil packs and do the trans cooler if it hasn't already been done.

Yes, Thermostat add. Don't forget the new O-rings on the intake since that will be coming off. Do you have the upgraded breather system on top of the intake?
