Good luck man.
Lux, I wish you good luck, and I hope everything turns out ok..... Please keep us updated...... Have them bring in a computer to the bed if you have to!
Hope all went OK..what is rotator cuff surgery anyway? Dangerous?
Thanks for the well wishes!!
Everything went ok......I am pretty stiff and sore.
They didn't do the rotator cuff though. It was the tendon that attaches the pec (chest) muscle to the shoulder. It was separated and had to be re-attached. The doctor said that there was a sleight tear of the rotator cuff but it wasn't bad enough to warrent repair.
It's kinda hard for me to do anything on the computer so my visits will probably be limited for a while but I'll be back when I can use my arm a little more.

Hey. I'm glad to hear it went okay. I think I have a little rotator cuff problem as well.

Tree.. I don't know much about the rotator cuff but it's got to do with the shoulder and the way it rotates... I know I messed mine up a bit by over-throwing in baseball/softball...
Thanks Sal!!

Tree,
Here is some rotator cuff info.
Yeah im on a rehab program for the same thing, if it doesnt get better i go under the knife! And im only 18! But what can you expect when you are a tennis captain that serves a few hundred tennis balls a day at close to 100mph.....what sucks is that i have had to give up tennis because of it :( anyway hope you feel better lux!
Man, it has to be painful (literally) to give up your sport..... I think I would go insane seeing a perfect day and I couldnt go golfing because of an injury!!! You would definitely see my post count skyrocket!!!!
Tennis can be bad, I screwed up both my knees on that sport. At first the arthritis specialist thought it was rhumatoid arthritis, but another Rhumatoligist said I physically or mechanically screwed up the bones in my knees. Since we are on the subject I've had two hernia operations, surgery on my finger tendon, and a .22 cal bullet richochet removed that lodged in my right bicept! Oh yeah, I have a hearneated disc (L4) that will eventually need surgery. At least I don't pay for it in Canada, thank God!! :D On the Arthritis, I first developed a virus that caused it in Sept. 2000, and it basically left me paralyzed for two months, Ive got pics to back that up. I know what you mean about the pain involved just to lift your arm to type or reach for the beer!
