if this has been covered in another thread please direct me there, I looked and didnt see anyone having the same problem as what i do...
i have an 07 escalade and last night i opened the hatch using the button on the handle of the hatch and it opened with no problem but when i went to close it i pressed the button on the bottom of the hatch to close it and it didnt do anything so i closed it by hand then i tried opening it again with the button on the hatch i tried multiple times and nothing but it will open and close using my remote or the button up front, this morning when i got to work i tried opening it again using the outside button thats on the handle and it opened up no problem, so i pressed the button thats on the bottom of the latch and again nothing, pressed the button on the remote and it closed the hatch, pressed the button on the handle to open it again and nothing... the motor isnt making any weird or loud noises when its opening or closing so i figured id get some advice... oh and the button to open the glass is working fine....
