I have a new 2005 STS. Had it for about a month. I got into the car the other day and noticed that there is absolutly no sound whatsoever coming out of the radion or the voice recognition system. All of the suddend I heard a pop noise and ever since, the sound may come back on once in a while. In fact, the turn signals, while operative, do not make the regular clicking sound they normaly do when they are on. I took it to the dealer and they replaced the "navi" radio. But as I pulled out of the lot, this problem came back.

Has anyone experienced this? if so, what did you do about it. Thanks in advance. :helpless:

I had a similair problem on my former cadi, an 02 Seville. radio would come on for a second, go out come go out etc etc. Everytime I took it in, the problem would go away and didn't really happen that often. I noticed one night a clicking noise coming from the rear, somewhere in upper trunk area....click click relay on & off...went on for hours. Long story short, there are a ton of electronics back there and a short...get this..in my seat heater affected the radio. It wasn't until the seat heater short caused it completely go out that the radio completely went out. The replace heating element...no more radio problems, no more click problem. 2 years later I heard the clicking again, the next morning the radio pulled its intermittant stunt again and within days the seat heater went out for the second time...thank goodness for Warranty.

Best of luck...thankfully your under warranty too!

I am on warranty. I took the care in today and called Cadillac. The assigned a "case specialist" who will stay in contact with me until it is fixed. I hate thses problems. They should not happen in a car like this. I hear the clicking too, I am just not sure from where. Hopefully they will find it.
