Hi,

I purchased my new 2014 ATS 2.0 MT Standard last month. So far it has been great, but one thing I noticed is that there is no kinesthetic feedback when I touch the panel to engage climate control, etc.

Does the Standard panel have this feature or am I missing something?

Thanks,

Anthony

Thanks - I should have been more clear - I don't have Cue, but I guess I was expecting feedback on the rest of the panel - I didn't remember seeing this info in my owners manual, but ill look again...

Thanks,

Anthony

In Cue settings you can enable the haptic feedback. i have a standard model with Cue and do have haptic feedback in areas other than the screen.
Same here haptic feedback on the panel below CUE also, but it is not as strong as the screen.

Thanks -

If anyone with a non-Cue car can confirm that their panel buttons have haptic feedback, that would be great. I couldn't find any info concerning this...

I have the haptic on CUE that feels the same on all areas on my 13. I do have the settings as well in the CUE. My car has not been updated for anything and I like it that way. I don't want them touching my car. And if they did nothing has changed. I like my car the way it sits.

----------

Do you know what was updated? My car was built around the same time as yours. Mine earlier in august. The only thing I know that was updated was the HVAC way back when it wasn't working right.
My 13 (updated) does not have any settings either.

Dune they did the CUE update that came out in March of 2013 and I've never had option to turn the haptic response on or off it's always on and it includes it the center console areas below the CUE. Other than that they have applied patches to fix off things like favorites not working properly and voice prompts reverting back to long after I set them to short.

Are you saying you have settings to change the haptic feedback to on or off? Can you take a picture of that setting?

I got out of bed for this one cuz it bothered me not knowing if it was there. And nope its not there. I could have sworn it was in there. Just the regular calibration and proximity stuff. Can anyone here say they have that or had because I swear it was there. I remember saying what is that and it had 2 options on and off. I'm just a dummy not knowing what's in my car going on 2 years now. Or it was taken out by an update. Anyone have it??

To my knowledge it's never been an option. I've had a '13 with the original release, then updated release, then updated HMI and software/firmware. Now a '14 and I haven't seen the option in any of those configurations.
