I just wanted to wish everybody a Happy Thanksgiving! I don't know if I will be around tomorrow so I figured I send my good wishes out tonight. I hope you all have much to be thankful for and enjoy eating all that good food. I know for myself, since I have had my daughter I cherish every moment to get together with family. I know that I am thankful for the things I am already so blessed to have. I also wanted to send a special Thanks to all our military out fighting for our freedom. I know Holidays must be extremely difficult, and wanted you to know how much I personally Thank you. Enjoy your Holiday!!!!!

To everyone: I would also like to add my wishes for all of you to have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving. Enjoy the time you have off to catch up on personal things and having good times with family. Happy Thanksgiving from Addison_II. Stay safe, catch those huge sales on Friday, and remember no drinking and driving. See you all soon.

A happy & a healthy to all. Focus on what's "right" in your lives and not on the day-to-day problems that we all have. We give thanks for the service of our military all around the world in both combat & peaceful times. Special thanks to Sal, for creating this venue for us to all play in. :)
I am extremely happy as our son arrived home safely at 1PM from college and he looks terrific. So good to hug him, and have a nice dinner with Mommy & Matt tonight. The very best to you all.

Happy Turkey! Well..... at least the ones who were spared this year......:thepan:

I'm looking forward to having the family over for Thanksgiving dinner, especially my last remaining grandmother. She is 91 and still going ..... well, maybe not strong but she still lives by herself in her own home and is cognizant. She still drives but we don't encourage that, lol.

Life is short enough, if you have strife in your family do what you can while you can to make peace. There may come a day when the opportunity is forever taken from you.

God bless all!

Wow, they still allow us a public holiday to give thanks? :hmm:

I should take advantage of that, while I still can!! :worship:

First I'd like to thank George Washington for making the first proclamation of a national day of thanksgiving, and then I'd like to thank Abraham Lincoln for officially bringing it back after about 74 years of absence and finally, I'd like to thank the congress of 1941 for making Thanksgiving a legal holiday.

We won't ever have men like them as leaders again. :ill:
