Thanks, you too.
So, whadya doing?

I fixed the kitchen faucet, master bath shower head, and now I'm trying to fix my V. I have an F'ed up temp sensor situation (ECT) that looks like will need surgery to the wire harness to resolve.

Let me just start this excuse of a repair process by saying the dealer started this fiasco 3 years ago (they've already paralleled one lead - and poorly) and without Reed's .faq I'd be screwed right now.

So, happy Father's day, Reed (how many kids that you know about?).

Sweet...V is fixed.

Now onto fixing the perplexing Brit car aka Lotus.

my daughter is on my lap right now screaming as I type this one-handed

happy Father's day
Woke up early and went to work for a huge day at the resort...Came home and my new orange belt (7 yrs old) was hiding and playing a little kato shiat and nails me in the nuts with a round house. Then little Rion Chin (3 yrs old)comes screaming at me with the blades of a helicopter wizzzzin' aimed at my throat and to cap it off my darling ballerina pours glitter all over my head...

Not sure if I'm looking forward to the _ J tonight....
Just remember, Chef, if the _J doesn't work out, there's always JD :alchi:

I had my 3 year old poke me in the arm with my not so cooled down soldering iron :banghead:

Happy Father's Day, Wild Bill and all.

This is the first Father's Day where my little girl hasn't wished me one. My little girl is 20 now, and has been away from home for 3 years. Somebody else is her daddy now. :sniffle:

At least my boy shared some of his pizza with me.
I had my brother and his wife over- they brought their 4 month old and 19 month old. Basically, we tried to watch a movie over the child provided tantrum soundtrack (my 3 month old just stared at them as if to say, "Man....shut up".

It's all good though, as the wife had some seasoned pork simmering in the crock pot for over 12 hours, so at least we had good eats.
ahh, shucks L5

Felt a bit sickly this AM, so didn't go to church. Went outside and worked on the new patio instead (anyway, made sense to me). Worked all day on that sucker ... sweated like crazy all day in 90 deg heat, too ... got sunburned ... and it aint'd done yet! :alchi:

Thanks, Wild.
I am not a father. But I did pass a few fathers at VIR today...

And WW, I always fancied you a Fresca man...

Finallly finished powerwashing the deck and sealing most of it. Got sunburned too...:rant2:
Took one for the team,500 miles in the V to see my older sister before she flew back to Albuquerque.I ditched a family reunion because the g friend couldn't get off work saturday.Pissed some people off to say the least,**** em!I wasn't put on this earth to live up to other peoples expectations.I did however get 3 happy fathers days out of them.
I got to sleep in (sort of), play video games, got a nice card and present from my 4 year old son.. nothing from the Wife, although she did offer to buy me some new work shoes until I said I'd rather have something fun for Father's day, not something I need, so she said "forget it then". (nice huh?)

I finished prepping a hole I was fixing in the bathroom ceiling, now it is ready for paint (stupid roofers!).
Otherwise I made it up to about level 530 on Cosmic bugs while I missed the NASCAR race. I got to watch a little TV with the Missus but I passed out early because I have not been sleeping very well lately.

Oh, she did buy me a nice dinner from my favorite Thai place and we ate together. That was nice.

Mom called to wish me a good one and I talked to her for a bit. I told my dad happy Father's day yesterday and he's visiting 2 of his grandkids and my sister in St. Louis.

I hope all you other dads had a great Fathers' day! :D
