Thanks Kev for the info, and to all who are serving or have served in the corps, congratulations and thanks.
I've got a half brother that's in the marines...havn't seen nor heard from him in about 10 or twelve years...last I knew, he went to Afghanistan, but that was years ago. He had written my dad to tell him he was ok and that he couldn't tell just where he was going...I wouldn't recognize him to this day, I've only met him a couple of times when I was really young...but yes, I am quite proud to have a brother in the marines...
My grandfather served in France and was wounded in the battle of Belleau Wood. His son, my uncle, served in the Pacific and was wounded on Okinawa. I regret not keeping up the tradition. They both loved the Corp but my uncle was deeply troubled by what he did and saw and refused to discuss any of it ever.
I have two sons in the Corps. Semper Fi!

Thanks for the recognition Kev and the rest of you. I sent the video clip to my buddies at work. There's about 25 of us from the Korean War to the Middle East War and parents of Marines that get together each year. Been doing it for almost 15 years now.Kev said:
