Had A 300c For Dinner Last Night
Well I was pulling out of the bank last night and caught a light with a new (HEMI) 300C. I put it in 2nd and feathered the throttle then hammered it! The tires broke loose a little, and then I was gone. I pulled hard on him in first and had him by 1/2 a car. The 300C shifted into 2nd before my STS and I gained another 1/4 of a car length. We stayed at that distance all the way to 75mph, when he backed off. I was grinning ear to ear. I slowed down and he coasted on by without even looking over. To say the least he was pissed that his over rated 345hp HEMI got smoked by a 5yr. old 300hp STS. :yup:

:canttalk: No 22" rims? No HID lights? No spoiler? Only 2 fog lamps? Relatively stock tires? No K&N? No 4.5" exhaust? AAAHHH....! I know....The fuzzy dice and the butt plug did it....... (Now, I'll go don my flak vest....)(There's nothing like a sleeper......)

Quit making fun of Chryslers. They are the only cars I know that you never had to change the oil on. Just add a few quarts every few days.

Honestly I thought I would get smoked, I don't care if it was a Z06 I will never back down from a race. I also have a 2006 silverado with a 5.3 300hp and it will keep up with a HEMI truck any day of the week. I'm telling ya they are over rated. I have a K&N in the stock air box with the lower box removed and that is it. All I can say is go out and find one, I think you will be suprised.
Driven Hemi 300's and Hemi Magnums. They are quick,but not nearly as fast as people think they are. I have also driven a every STS except a V and the later 300hp versions are pretty quick. With equal drivers, the 300C wins every time. It's not rocket science. However otherwise, great kill.. The STS is the type of car that if you make one mistake on, you'll lose to...
