When i was adjusting my timing at normal operating temp, i heard a gurgling sound somewhere in the intake? I was wondering what it could be. I changed plugs, wires, cap, and rotor and it runs A HELL OF ALOT BETTER THAN IT EVER DID!! Everything is MSD igniton except plugs. I set the timing to 6 degrees. Soon i will install MSD 6a ignition, & msd coil. My power steering pump makes a whining sound wen turning also.

Gurgling? As in liquid? Did you have the air cleaner assembly off at the time? Sometimes just the drawn air will make some strange noises. If it sounded like liquid, I'd more suspect you heard the sound of a collapsing air bubble in the upper radiator hose as the thermostat opened.
thatnks, that is most likely the case because i have an edelbrock air cleaner, i tossted the stock one. i just wanted to know what it may be.
