I talked to UUC and they are willing to lower their price a little...

If we (Lindsay) can get at least 5 people to commit we can sell them for $365.00 + tax (Va. residents) + shipping to you ($365.00 + tax for the local guys who can pick-up here).

If we (Lindsay) can get at least 10 people to commit we can sell them for $340.00 + tax (Va. residents) + shipping to you ($340.00 + tax for the local guys who can pick up here).

We will need to know people who will definately purchase. UUC will only sell at a discounted price if we order them all at one time.

Anyone locally that would want the shifter installed we can do that for an additional $95.00.

If you have any other questions you can post them here or contact me through PM or you can reach me by e-mail at [email protected]

I will commit to the $340 price point. So consider me in the # to get to the 10.

I am local and might be in at $340 with some info-
does the UUC come with just the shifter or does it include the bushings for the shift linkage? In the cadillacfaq it almost looks like they give you a shifter linkage assembly with the shifter (with the better bushings?).
On uucmotorwerks.com they still show back order...

I'm in for 100% sure at either price group. I'd prefer the 10 price obviously, but I want to get one and the wife likes to know I didn't pay retail.

What's the deadline?

I've been planning on getting one anyway so count me in, may as well join the group for a better deal. I'll watch here for details.

It's just the shifter that you get from UUC. If you look at the picture on UUC's website that's what you get, the linkage that's in the car stays in the car.

The better bushings came from another member here, Lasstss, he had those made himself and I believe he doesn't have any more. He could answer that question better than I.

They are anticipating that they will have more shifters very shortly, they are waiting on one of the parts from their suppliers. We're expecting a call from them today on an ETA...

Look in the Hot Topic sticky, shifter post, it's all in there.

Talked to UUC yesterday (Friday) and they have the pieces that they need to put the shifters together. As it stands right now it appears that there are five confirmed:

1) JRD
2) 2004CTSV
3) MOLDOWAN
4) NTECHNIC
5) OREGON STEALTH

Four more confirmed if we can get to the $340.00 price point:

1) C4RACER
2) SLYWUN
3) BLACKSPORT350
4) DAMIAN GRABOWSKI

One maybe:

1) TIMMAYZ

TIMMAYZ, I need to know if you are a definate, you will make 10...

If there is anyone else out there interested let me know ASAP. I told UUC I'd place the order next week...

James,

I will take one at $340 and it looks like we are VERY close to that!

So someone else step up to the plate and buy what has been the best shifter ever known to the BMW community. I'm sure it will do wonders for the V!

OK Carl... I've added you to the list...
