Greasing Intermediate Shaft

Anyone have experience doing this? My '98 STS is developing a very slight pop under loaded left and right turns and I'm thinking it's probably the shaft. I can feel it slightly in the wheel, but there is very little, if any, noise. Any help is appreciated.

I think you are looking at needing a new shaft. I hope I'm wrong.
